The past year was a bit chaotic, with a big move of residence. But I’ve still been busy! I’m playing with several of the same bands, plus I’ve had some special events with a Django tribute (Bravo Theatre on April 17!), playing with some excellent Mexican gypsy jazz musicians in town for a limited time, and also an upcoming Grateful Dead tribute I launched.

I’ve also been teaching a “playshop” weekly, first at Club Positivo & later at the Unitarian Church in Riberas del Pilar, called “Experience Music Together”; it’s mostly ukuleles & guitars, and I bring 4 songs per week and lead everyone through them. We’ve played around 150 songs so far! It’s challenging to do a group class and keep everyone happy. It’s been a good experience.
